O Ratmas Tree

I’m finally getting the Ratmas tree together, and of course, the rats are having fun. Amelia tried to eat all the ‘icing’ on the calcium chews, while Giles tried brute force to remove them, and it didn’t take Agnes long to remember how she got around this problem last Ratmas. She’s a smartypants.

  1. Too cute for words, especially with the blue icing all over their faces! Agnes is a clever rat indeed; that’s more reasoning skill than some small children have.

  2. Hee. Agnes is very smart, she hasn’t been foiled yet when it comes to thieving. She’s quite the creative thinker. :D

  3. I’m sure Amelia and Giles leave the chews on the tree because it’s more fun not because they can’t figure it out.
Do any of the rest of them follow Agnes’s lead?

  4. Oh, last year, they all learned from Agnes and were cutting thread all over the place. Amelia’s thing is more ornament theft and destruction. She doesn’t trouble with the mineral chews because she only likes the ‘icing’ on them, and that can be eaten in situ.

  5. So, so dang cute. That one with Agnes on her haunches and her face all blue. ♥

  6. Squee! Really too cute for words. As others have said, the picture of Agnes with the blue on her face is beyond adorable. Thank you for sharing. ♥

  7. Aww, thank you! The rats do all the work, I’m just happy I get to capture some of it. Got 30 more shots today. :D
