General Rattitude

A bit on the quiet side. Chester died on the 29th, quietly and in no pain.  The crew has been affected, especially Oliver, Theo, Neville, Giles, and Vasco, who took great care in guarding Chester and making sure he was kept safe and warm.  It’s been a tough time for all of us. In many ways, Chester was the quiet, reassuring burble of laughter in the hearts of the crew, always playful and always tremendously affectionate. Chester was happiness on legs. He is missed.

Yesterday saw the dismantling of Playstation East, the rats were getting to bound to it, rarely bothering to come out, becoming shy and most certainly not getting enough exercise. So, it’s gone. But I did keep the drawers for them. Heh. Everyone is adjusting and settling into the new arrangement.

  1. As usual, Caine, these pictures are wonderful. They look so happy, so interested, and definitely making plans, if not overtly plotting something. Through your lens, I get to see them as vibrant individuals. And Vasco is so dashing! Thank you for sharing.

  2. When I was in New Orleans, I showed my friend Rattitude, especially Vasco. She was very impressed. :D
