On a side note, I miss Esme too. They are always a part of you, then, now, thereafter. And now I’m teary.
I put up a little footstool behind the tree, they are all up in it now, chewing on it and having a great time. Thank on Esme. Given how short a time rats live, it’s devastating to lose one so early.
